DANGOUROUS FIRE!
IN the event of fire, should people make a safe room
and wait to be rescued?
Many people believe that they should escape from a
burning building however strong the fire is statistics show that a high
percentage of deaths in fire are caused by people trying to leave the building.
Therefore, making a safe room and waiting to be recused is the only option if a
exits are blocked and the building if full of smoke.
Most importantly, smoke is lethal. Over the past year 20,000 deaths have
occurred due to smoke inhalation. Scientists have stated that humans can only breathe
in four to six breaths of smoke before they collapse. As a result it can cause
serous breathing problems and injuries.
Furthermore, escaping out of a house can be really
difficult and can cause much danger. 99% people around the world have died by
not staying in a safe room and going downstairs to see what’s happening inside
the building. AS a consequence, Mr Smith who once tried to jump out of a window
from a burning building has broken his back and is paralyzed forever for this
you should not try to do this.
In conclusion, it is clear that people should stay in
a safe room rather than going outside to escape form a burning building.
Furthermore, if they are only young they would live for short time more than a
long life. Most humans argue that you should stay in a safe room for some help
instead of going downstairs and risking your peruse lives.
Surely you must agree that staying in a safe room will
help you to stay alive more than risking your lives going downstairs or jumping
out of a high window?
