Green Backed
Spiders
Spiders are not insects, they are differ in several ways. They
are in fact arachnids, as they have eight legs not six. Scientist believe, that
Green Backed Spiders have been around for millions of years, although they have
not changed much in this time.
Spiders are found almost everywhere around the world, mostly in
colder climates. The Green Backed spiders, which prefer warmer climates,
originate from countries near the equator. Today they are found in rainforests
and jungles of South America and North America. This particular species of
spiders, live in borrows underground. They will either use their fangs to dig
them or else take someone else’s burrow-home.
Living on a diet of: Bird eyes, Lizard brains, Snake skin also
Eagle fingers, this incredible arachnid catches its defenceless prey using its
six venomous fangs and carefully designed webs from its spinnerets. This hairy
hunter does this in order to be able to survive. Eating Lizard brains gives it
energy (as its blood is full of nutrients.) However as this minim creature has
no teeth, it can only suck through its poisoned fangs.
Comprised of two segments (the abdomen and cephalothorax,) the
body of the Green Backed spider is covered with blood and slime and has a
prominent green patch on its back. Usually, a normal spider has eight eyes and
vicious creature has 10, also a Green Backed spider is 10cm long when it is
born and grows 35cm long when it’s an adult age!
Although spiders are seen throughout the world, there are only
300 of these species left, due to this, they now face extinction. These
wonderful creatures are begin torched because of the chemicals in the venomon
to help cure lung cancer.
Even though, spiders are being extinct we need to help them and
take care of them, other whys there will be no more of these creatures. So we
have come up with (SKGBS) which means stop killing Green Backed Spiders!
